دانشگاه گوتینگن – Universität Göttingen

 

دانشگاه گوتینگن، در سال ۱۷۳۷ بنا نهاده شده و یکی از ده دانشگاه برتر کشور آلمان است و در زمینهٔ علوم انسانی، علوم پایه و پزشکی و شاخه‌های آن دارای اعتبار و شهرتی جهانی است. برخی از مشهورترین ریاضی‌دانان تاریخ مانند کارل فریدریش گاوس، برنهارد ریمان و داوید هیلبرت از اساتید دانشگاه گوتینگن بوده‌اند و تاکنون ۴۴ نفر از اساتید آن موفق به کسب جایزه نوبل در رشته‌های مختلف شده‌اند. ۱۲ درصد از دانشجویان دانشگاه گوتینگن را دانشجویان خارجی تشکیل می‌دهند که در ۸۰ رشتهٔ تحصیلی در ۱۳ دانشکده که از میان آن‌ها می‌توان دانشکدهٔ علوم کشاورزی، پزشکی، ریاضی و علوم رایانه را نام برد مشغول به تحصیل می باشند.
